I am 6th Ward City Council Member which serves East Campus. I live just East of the Hinkson Creek

I like East Campus because:
It is composed of interesting, intelligent, community minded people. It is an historic neighborhood. It is diverse. It is close to the University * downtown and a strong anchor neighborhood for the central city. I bike through it, up University Ave. when I go downtown for office hours and other downtown activities/events. My home is just East of East Campus, down in the "valley".
