The proximity to my job at MU can't be beat. I also adore my house! Another nice thing is that it feels like an active neighborhood. That is one of EC's biggest assets, and it can also be one of the downsides. But overall, I like the energy in the neighborhood and how close I am to MU and downtown.
About Me:
I grew up in Columbia, but moved away after graduating from Hickman (go Kewpies!). I spent time living in Chicago and then in China before returning to Columbia in 2006. At that point, I viewed Columbia as a brief transition before moving somewhere else, but I ended up with a fantastic job at the Asian Affairs Center at MU and then bought my first home in East Campus. I guess Columbia is no longer simply a brief transition.
