Hi, welcome! We're just the other side of the park from you (corner of Hilltop and Rockhill). Nice of your kitty to leave the birds alive for you...our 3 are indoors but once when we let them out on the back porch the next thing we know there was a lizard's tail flopping around sans lizard in the house & one cat was licking his lips in a most suspicious manner.

Hi and welcome to East Campus. Cav

Profile Information

I Moved to East Campus in:
March 2008
Street I live on:
Morningside Dr.
I share a home with...
my spouse/partner, my pet(s)
I like East Campus because:
We moved here from the Benton-Stephens neighborhood. In looking for a new home, we wanted to avoid the newer developments because that lack character and individuality. East Campus seems to be an active place, and the woodsy surroundings are appealing. We don't know any people yet except for Oscar, who helped us move in, but it seems like the neighborhood is a friendly place.
About Me:
We have lived in Columbia for 5 years, having moved here from the East Coast where we were doing graduate work at the University of Rhode Island. Elizabeth teaches fashion at Stephens College and works with their historic costume collection. Michael works as Sears as he completes a Ph.D. in American Literature. We have two cats that bring us live birds which we then release back into the woods. They seem to like their new surroundings. We are looking forward to redoing the garden here and making this home our own.
