Thanks! Our cats just discovered the wonders of lizards today. Swammi (the one in the pic on our page) brought one into the living room and promptly lost it under a chair. She doesn't have a killing nature, though. So, like the birds she's captured and released in our house, it's alive and apparently enjoying our hospitality.

Hi Rachel, no I don't live in East Campus. I felt guilty about joining the forum even though I didn't live there. So I was purposely vague about my location. But, then I felt cheap about doing that. I've cruised around though. I plan to hang out more and explore now that the semester is over. I liked your photo of the praying mantis? (Is that what they're called?) Those things are big!

Great! I'll leave the questions alone, then. Once I get a lot of the key info imported/re-created from the existing site, and maybe post some of my own neighborhood photos for interest, I'll be able to start inviting more neighbors to join. It may be best to do this around the same time as the next invitation to attend a neighborhood event.

I like living within walking distance to work. I like the park and the trees and the uniqueness of the homes - no cookie-cutter houses here!
About Me:
My husband and I are happy we've settled down after many years of bouncing from town to town for school, more school, jobs, etc. We still like to travel. We don't have a lot of skill with gardening or home repairs, but we do like to find and photograph animals in the wild. If you have a snake-related question, come to us.
